As far as his strengths on the court, they were his ability to be a dynamic guard with his handles, footwork, his quickness at his position, and he showed he had a solid framework in his offensive capabilities. Next in his development, Garite can continue to work on his shooting mechanics, and his shooting off the dribble. Coach said “This is one player that I feel can and will make anybody’s team. I’ve loved your passion and drive for the game. Continue to stay positive with the game and work on the little things. With the right training you have the potential to play at the next level. Keep grinding away and improving in the little areas.”

Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 122
Favorite Athlete: Kobe Bryant
Class: 2028
Uniform Number: # 297

Player Evaluation
Kaden Weed, a 6’ 2” prospect from San Clemente, California and part of the class of 2028, had a good showing and had a good all-around game on the floor; really helped in a variety of ways. He was able to operate from multiple levels, knock down shots from different settings, make an impact defensively, and show his court awareness on the floor. Next in his development, he can continue to improve his ability to get downhill, quickness, penetration ability and his footwork on the floor. Coach said “Nice all-around player. Needs to be more active on offense but rebounded very well. Work on ball handling and catch and shooting, as well as off ball movement.” Work on finishing at the rim. As you expand your game and focuses on your weakness, your game will take off to another level. Your skill set is very good but now you just need to clean up the little things. Great job this weekend!

Position: Point Guard

Favorite Athlete: Lebron James
Class: 2028
Uniform Number: # 298

Player Evaluation
Keith Aries Labunog, a 5’5” prospect from Stockton, California and part of the class of 2028, had a great overall camp at the Phenom America camp. He was able to showcase his skills in certain areas but also had a great attitude and was eager to learn as well. Keith was if not the top guard in his class he was right there. His strengths on the court were his consistency to be a team player, his ability to put pressure on the defense, his awareness in finding his teammates and making the right reads and moving without the ball to create opportunities. Next in his development, he can continue to work on his moving without the ball, rebounding and off-ball defense, as well as his back to the basket moves. Coach said “Very high basketball IQ on the court at your position and will make any team he plays on better. Continue to work on your quickness, footwork as well. Shooting off the dribble and three-point consistency will continue to help you as well. Defense will get you playing time so build the hunger to make an impact there as well.” You’re a special talent, keep focused on and off the court and I will enjoy watching you play college basketball.
